It was a cold one this week and many of you still made it a point to stop by Exodus for your bagel fix. It means the world to us that you support us during this moment of storelessness.
👀 look it up. It’s a word.

Adam has thoroughly enjoyed his short convos with many of the patrons of our Airstream service. Some of you stick around well past the delivery of your order which we think means that you too are enjoying the chats. While many customers have reduced their visits to us during this abbreviation of services, some of you have actually increased your frequency at Exodus.

Our increased face time with you all has been a standout benefit of this pivot; it has provided more evidence that opening our doors to you all, building a space to enjoy our wares and each others company is the absolute right thing to do.

And while we wait to complete our project (due sometime this Spring), we wanted to reiterate our change in hours as it takes time and repetition to get this info to all of you.
We are still open Wednesday-Sunday but we now close at 11am.

We will be closing on Thursday and Friday this week. This is just for this week, not a permanent change. I mean…what’s permanent these days anyways?

We now close at 11am daily. We have been monitoring our sales at the Airstream and found that the 11am-12pm hour produces very limited sales and with our renovation in process we have to respond diligently to all costs, but mostly payroll. So closing an hour earlier helps curb that expense. We hope you will continue to get your bagel fix from us, but just in a tighter 3-4 hour window.

We have fully embraced our Airstream service and will continue to maintain your access to our bagels. You have all been incredibly enthusiastic and supportive during this weirdness and we appreciate you all very much. Priscilla and I are really enjoying our face time with all of you. It has left us with a deep sense of affirmation for what we have built and what we are building.

Even more, we are so proud of our staff for their flexibility, positivity and enthusiasm for what we’re doing now…and what’s to come!

We use bagels. WJIB uses tunes. Bottom line is we are SO proud to be a part of your lives. And we’re grateful you’re a part of ours.

Also “Sweet Caroline” is not my go to Neil Diamond song, but that’s what came on at 7am so that scored our video today. Much better at Fenway with a beer and a three run lead going into the bottom of the 8th. 😉
