Bagel Dough Maker

Constructs bagel doughs at our Roslindale commissary kitchen, assists with Bagel Production


  1. Following our recipe, create bagel dough using the properly proofed starter doughs

  2. Participate in Bagel Production (cutting, balling, shaping the dough before proofing stage) after the dough making shift

  3. Clean kitchen: wash dishes, clean & sanitize all surfaces, sweep floors, remove trash

  4. Take stock of ingredients, inform chef or kitchen manager of these needs


  1. Available a minimum of 2-3 days per week: Tues - Fri 12pm- 7pm, and either Sat or Sun 12pm -5pm

  2. Able to lift 50 lbs and be on their feet for the duration of the shift

  3. Strong attention to detail - able to follow recipes precisely, scale ingredients

    accurately, sensitivity to the process - adapting to changes in temperature,

    ingredients, time constraints

  4. Knowledge and enthusiasm for baking

  5. Positive attitude, willingness to learn, sense of responsibility for their work

  6. Clean, hygienic, organized, and punctual

  7. Bonus: prior kitchen or bakery experience, experience working with a

    commercial mixer, ServSafe certified
